Thanksgiving and Emily's B-Day Party!

We spent Thanksgiving with Nate's family and had so much fun. It was also a time to celebrate cousin Emily's 2nd Birthday. Sprinkles enjoyed Thanksgiving too. :)

We are so proud!

Last week Gunnar had parent-teacher conferences at preschool. Both Nate and I were anxious to hear how Gunnar was doing. I didn't know that they had report cards in preschool but they do. I've posted a picture. They receive "stars" for the skills they've mastered and "S" for when they meet objectives some of the time and +'s for when they meet objectives inconsistently. Gunnar received stars and "S". Things written on his report card were "Very Polite" and "Will ask Questions" He was given a VERY good report. Nate and I are SO PROUD of him.

We let him go to Wal-Mart and pick out any toy he wanted for doing so good, at first he picked out a .97cent car but we told him he could have something else, so he picked out the fire truck pictured below. :)

Gunnar dressed up as "who knows what" and ran around the house.



Then we decided to strike up the fire place and let Gunnar "camp out" in the fire place room. (NOTE: Please be advised of the albino majestic mountain cat waiting for Gunnar to return to the tent.)

SPRINKLES!!!

I've been meaning to post this for awhile, but other things kept coming up. In October I brought a new "baby" home. She was born on 6/24/08 and is a full-blooded Chihuahua. Nate and I have struggled to have another baby, so I guess the next best thing...a dog! :) She is spoiled and a wonderful addition to the Oleson family.

Ok, I have to brag! As some of you know I made a trip to Tennessee in October for a NAHMA training. This was a 2 day intense training followed by a 4 hour test to become certified. This training is based around HUD regulations and something I was not familiar with. It took a lot of time, effort, and studing to get through this course. We were not aware of our test results as they are sent out to be scored. Well today I found out...

I'm offically a CPO (Certified Professional of Occupancy) I have been given permission "to use the CPO designation on letterhead, business cards and on all forms of address." I must say, I'm rather proud of myself!!

Singing for Preschool!

Gunnar had to sing in church for preschool. I was so impressed, he knew all the words. He was such a cutie!!!
