Gunnar's Christmas Program---2010

Gunnar had his Christmas Program and did such a wonderful job! He's growing up so fast. He was also able to visit Santa after the program.

Halloween---2010

Zombie, Jason, and Crazy Old Lady filled our house for Halloween this year. Enjoyed a Halloween Party at our friend Heather's house.
Really? Really....does a 5 year old need that much candy?

Pumpkin Patch---Tradition!

Each year Grammy Tammy comes to Sidney to enjoy Hazel's Pumpkin Patch with Gunny. For the past 3 years we have found some goofy thing to take pictures with. We always have so much fun!

The time is near...

Nate had a doctors appointment on 09/29/2010 with his kidney specialist. His labs show that his kidney function is low enough to proceed with a transplant. His doctor explained that he would like to see the transplant occur within the next 4 to 6 weeks. However, the transplant center (University of Colorado Hospital) has not contacted us yet. They will give us more detail on exactly what will happen and when. Nate does have a live donor lined up, which we are very thankful for! Again, we do not have an exact timeline but we will keep you posted.

Saying Goodbye.

On Aug. 28th we headed to Walden, Colorado to spread my Grandma Dorla's ashes. Grandma passed away on December 24th 2007, we took her to the mountains where my Grandpa's ashes were spread. Even though she has been gone for almost 3 years saying goodbye was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. We all put our hand prints in the cement and I wrote "I miss you." Some of the my Grandpa's ashes were saved in order to put both Grandma and Grandpa together and I was able to spread some of his ashes too which was nice as I was unable to make the trip when they said goodbye to Grandpa. The great-grandchildren sent balloons to heaven as it would have been my Grandma's 74th birthday.

This is my Grandpa's marker.

The great-grandkids also decorated the tree near their markers as Grandma loved Christmas so much. She always had a special ornament on the Christmas presents she gave out. :)

First Day!!!

Where does the time go? :( Gunnar is off to Kindergarden! He looked so handsome! We are very proud of him. Got him to the classroom, he unpacked his back-pack...looked up at me and said..."Ok bye." Was not ready for him to push me out the door, but it was a good day.

Family Camp

Every summer in Aug. since as long as I can remember (20 + years) I have gone to the Mountians for Family Camp with the Baker side. I'm so glad Nate enjoys it as much as I do. Gunnar caught his first fish with Grandpa Baker. We also celebrated both Nate and I's birthday.

Elitches

We made a trip to Denver and all went to Elitches. Nate's brother and family joined us which included cousin Emily. Nate and I sure enjoyed the coasters!

This is a teddy bear that Grandpa Jerry helped Gunnar win, he had to be buckled in too! Tired boy!
