Home Decorating!

Since Nate has been laid off he has been doing some painting and decorating and making me a very happy wife. My house is really started to look just as I had imagined. We still need to paint the bathroom and get some deocorations but so far so good!
These 2 sayings are on walls in our livingroom.

I don't know why the wall in the above picture looks so white because it's actually painted a tan color.

Sleep Over!

Gunnar had a friend over to spend the night on Saturday. This is the second time he has done this. Gunnar and Chris have gone to the same daycare since they were just months old, they are actually cousins and Chris lives one street up from us. His mom, Brenda (Nate's cousin) and I share taking the kids to preschool each week and help babysit when needed. It works out so good, I don't know what I would do without her sometimes, plus the boys just love playing togther! Please excuse the food in Gunnar's mouth in this first picture. :)

Weekend Visitors

We had a nice weekend. Nate painted 2 rooms in our house, thank goodness! Then Nate's brother Vince, his wife, Kelly, and their grandaughter Emily came to visit. We had a really nice time. Gunnar loves playing with his cousin. Vince and Kelly took us out for a really nice dinner. We always enjoy visiting with family.

Gunnar's Birthday Party. (A little late)

Gunnar had a "Hot Wheels" themed party this year for his 4th birthday. We had it at a local arcade in town. About 12 kiddo's showed up between his friends, kids from preschool, and friends from church. I think everyone had a great time!
