Sick Boys!

Haven't posted in awhile. I've been really busy picking up extra hours at DOVES. I feel like I'm never home. Nate and Gunnar have spent lots of time together and Gunnar asks his daddy for everything, makes me sad but I know it's just because I've been so busy. Both of them got sick this weekend and Gunnar wanted to be cuddled lots which I had NO problem doing! I leave for Branson Missorri tomorrow and will be gone 4 days. Hoping I don't end up sick too. I will sure miss Nate and Gunnar though. Maybe someday things will slow down!?

Easter Pictures

We had a fun-filled Easter this year. Got up bright and early to attend sunrise service and came home to find that the Easter Bunny had stopped by. Gunnar was WAY excited to get his "Twisted Sister" CD that he proudly displays below. Yes, you heard right---Twisted Sister. He loves to rock out to "We're not gonna take it!"
The Easter Bunny brought skates for Gunnar too.

The Easter Bunny didn't forget about Sherry!

The cute bug eggs we decorated.

Gunnar at the Easter Egg hunt.

We had a BIG Easter dinner. My Dad and family came to visit and we had our friends over too. I'm sure they are all thrilled with the pictures of them eating but it was the one way to make sure I got everyone.

Snow, snow, and more snow!

This past Saturday we had a nice snow storm, all roads were closed and we just enjoyed the day in the house watching movies with family BUT Gunnar really had his share of fun the next day when he got to play in the snow!

At What Age...???...

...does a child learn to tell a fib?!
Here's the story...Gunnar has this habit of taking my scotch tape from the dispenser, of course he can't tear it off so there ends up being long strands of it and I find it stuck to everything, drives me crazy!!! Well this morning Gunnar showed me the tape wrapped around his finger and went on to explain, "The dog did it mom." I looked at him and said, "Gunnar, the dog did that???" We then proceeded to have a discussion (or argument) about the fact that I KNEW the dog did NOT wrap tape around his finger. After some long talking he admitted that he did it and apologized for "not telling the truth" Deep inside I was really laughing. NOW don't let this red faced boy fool you...he wasn't as upset as he looks he just takes after him mom when he cries, his face looks horrible. See how quick his mood changes?

The guilty party!
